VariQ Corporation has been awarded a prime contract by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under its Total Information Processing Support Services-4 Small Business (TIPSS-4 SB) contract vehicle. With a spending ceiling of $1.5 billion to provide information technology (IT) services over the next 10 years, TIPSS-4 is one of the primary procurement vehicles for technology-related services within the IRS and other Treasury Department bureaus. The IDIQ vehicle has two task areas: Cyber Security (CS) and Management and Business Operations Support Services (MBOSS). 30 companies were awarded prime contracts: 15 were awarded CS contracts, and 24 were awarded MBOSS contracts. VariQ is one of only nine companies awarded contracts in both task areas, and the only HUBZone company to receive a TIPSS-4 contract.

VariQ is also your most expedient option for urgent requirements. Under the TIPSS-4 Fair Opportunity Process, any task order valued at $3.5 million or less may be set-aside for a HUBZone under the CS Principal Task Area. IRS Program Managers may opt to set aside for HUBZone companies any task that is within these functional areas and under the $3.5M threshold . Since VariQ is the only HUBZone firm on TIPSS-4, there is no need for a sole source justification, and the process is faster than a directed award. Once the requirement is announced, our program team will return the requested proposal in a few days or less.
VariQ teamed with six leading IT program-management and information-security companies on their successful bid: Booz Allen Hamilton, Cytech Services, Cipher Systems, Federal Data Systems, MCR, LLC and SecureInfo.
